Earrings Era
Thanks to monthly bead club gatherings at BarrowPDX and a lovely charm party with Tiny Deer Studio, I am fully in my earrings era! I’ve been prototyping ceramic earrings for a few months, and I finally have my first collection of ceramic earrings ✨
I chose soft, earthy colors for the collection - an olive green, sea glass blue, lavender - and layered them with textured glazes that would crackle and bead over the colors.
Big thanks to Jessica for helping me with product photos! (As you can see, I still haven’t figured out what to do with my face when I’m modeling earrings… Smile? No smile? How do all my face muscles work? Feel free to reach out with tips and tricks 😂)
I really love how this collection turned out - organic, asymmetrical shapes that can be layered together for different style and impact. The hinged hooks are nice for this, too: if you have multiple pairs (or even a single layered pair, like the third pair I’m modeling), you can easily slide the ceramic pieces on and off to switch them out, which makes it great for travel and getting more ways to wear them.
