As 2025 came to a close, I found myself thinking about what I wanted for 2026. I know it’s an arbitrary gregorian calendar boundary event, but it can still be a nice excuse to reflect back and plan ahead 🙂

I signed up for Aubrey Sloan’s Exploring Professional Pottery class through Morning Ceramics, and it was nothing short of fantastic.

Six weeks from a “what if we…” post on Instagram to “I do” at a local flower farm. Dozens of volunteers. 12 excited couples. A ton of work and a fabulous, joyful day celebrating queer love.

Thanks to monthly bead club gatherings at BarrowPDX and a lovely charm party with Tiny Deer Studio, I am fully in my earrings era! I’ve been prototyping ceramic earrings for a few months, and I finally have my first collection of ceramic earrings ✨

Restful, restorative, renewed creative energy.

These are the feelings I walked away with after I spent the loveliest week at Sou’wester Lodge in Seaview, WA for my first artist residency.

Last month I took a botanical inks workshop at Wildcraft Studios, led by Carolyn Sweeney of Strata Ink. I’ve taken other classes from Carolyn before so I was really looking forward to this one!
